The Friday Five Hundred is a weekly challenge to rewrite my life stories in 500 words or less delivered to your inbox…you guessed it…every Friday.
My Pakistani/American background adds cross-cultural detail to candid and humorous stories of parenting, family life, and the daily Writer grind. Let’s connect with universal stories of loss and resilience, joy and growth while parenting and living to write the tale.
I grew up believing Friday to be the holiest of days and the most fun. It’s a day for introspection and reflection on the past week.
Why 500 words?
In the famous words of Blaise Pascal: “If I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter.” With the understanding that your time is precious and it’s a worthy challenge for me to condense my stories, I stick to 500 words of stories each week.
What’s in it for you?
To inspire you to go within and rewrite your own stories.
